I'm Nicole, born in 1997. I've been painting and drawing as long as I can remember but now I would like to take my art more seriously. My most preferred medium is acrylic paints but I also enjoy using water colour pencils. My style of art varies from dark themes and idea to anime style pictures and portraits. As regards to art as an academic subject I have been studying art for around four years but I have been practicing from many years prior to even entering secondary school.

BrainBoxLab (Tom Rusher) is a Yotube Partner who has been making comedic videos on his channel since 2008. He has a Diploma In Creative Media and was the head video editor for Ehud Segev (Been on America's NBC countless times) and Jonathan Tilley a Voice coach who had won the 2013 Small Business Book Awards

Island Books is owned & run by Liz Groves. I came to Malta in 1975 and started a Book Shop for an Animal Charity. Many of you will remember my Book Fairs which attracted large crowds. I opened as Island Books on1 May 1991 and the shop is situated at the front of our old farmhouse in Mosta. There are over 20,000 titles arranged on 1350 feet of shelving.

The band formed in late 2010 and originally consisted of just Mark (drummer) and Daniel (guitarist). We then welcomed another guitarist, Neil, who gave a promising approach. Since then the band changed its members quite a few times, and for a while the decision was made to remain a three piece consisting of Mark, Karl (guitars) and Ben (bass). After a while it was decided that another guitarist was needed, and after some searching Daniel joined as the new, and last member.

Born in 1985, Amanda Friggieri, is a promising Maltese singer, lyricist and song-writer who started her musical journey in her late teens. Amanda discovered her voice during the casual karaoke nights with her friends, when strangers used to express their interest in her talent. Her intention was not to disregard any of those comments and soon started searching for opportunities where she could showcase her voice and start being trained.

My name is Sarah Marie and I am a 20 year old who is very passionate about music. I wanted to be a musician and singer ever since I can remember. I studies piano for 11 years and I am currently reading for my Music Studies B.A (Hons.) degree at the University of Malta and majoring in composition. I am greatly influenced by a variety of artists from several music genres especially jazz, fusion, 20th century composers and many more. Apart from playing piano I also sing jazz.

Born on the 20th April 1975, I showed interest in comics at an extremely young age, in fact the earliest thing I remember drawing was the "Jolly Roger" and cemeteries at the age of 5. If this would happen today I would be sitting on a comfy sofa in a Psychiatrist office. Well you don't blame me after listening to all the Greek and Norse mythology I heard from my uncle Alfred (no he's not batman's butler).

Draugûl is a one-man band epic/Viking metal project, and lyrically exploring the world of Tolkien and Norse Mythology. The project started out in my homeland in Malta. Since 2014 though, Draugûl has now moved to Sweden.

Born in autumn of 1981, it’s no wonder that the author loves cold weather and considers himself a “winter person”! However, he often jokes about the fact that ‘nobody can fully appreciate winter without first passing through a very hot summer.’ Recently Joseph has become very popular in Malta due to his record-breaking publication of 6 books in just under 4 years, making him the fastest producer of literature on such a small scale country within a short period of time.

Krysta Maria Micallef is a student Graphic Designer who has spent the last four years exploring and perfecting her skills in the field: aided by lecturers at the Mcast Art & Design Institute in Malta. Her strengths lie in marketing design with an emphasis on typography, and despite that she favours minimal design, she is a designer that has no inhibitions with trying something new or catering to a client’s brief.

Tanja Cilia is Maltese, Mediterranean, and European. Over the years she has covered most topics under the sun, and occasionally ventured beyond it too. But her favourite topics remain women’s and social issues.

Alexandra Aquilina is a Screen Printer, Graphic Artist and Marketing Assistant based in Malta, Europe. She graduated in Psychology in 2008 and in Graphic Design in 2010 and has since went on to set up the first local, design-led and contemporary hand screen-printing workshop, working on commissioned projects as well as her own products. She is constantly working with new techniques and materials, and branching out to apply her printing techniques to wood, fabric as well as upholstery.

Born in Australia in 1985 and emigrated to Malta in 1994. Dean attended Maria Bambina Mellieha Primary school and Mikiel Anton Vassalli Boys' Junior Lyceum Tal-Handaq. He graduated from the University of Malta in 2008 with a B.A. in History of Art and Social Studies and again in 2010 with a PGCE in Social Studies. In 2011 he self-published his first graphic novel called "Apocalypse Rocked - Part 1 (Issue 1 and 2)" and "Apocalypse Rocked - Issue 3 - Dead End Justice" in 2013.
